Anritsu Corporation develops, manufactures, and sells measurement instruments and systems for various communications applications in Japan and internationally. The company operates through Test and Measurement, Products Quality Assurance, and Others segments. The Test and Measurement segment offers measuring instruments for mobile phone acceptance testing by mobile phone service providers; and for design, production, function and performance verification, and maintenance of mobile phone handsets by manufacturers of mobile phones, including smartphones, IC chipsets, and relevant components. This segment also provides network construction, maintenance, monitoring, and service quality assurance solutions for wireline and wireless service operators; and measuring instruments for design, production, and evaluation of electronic devices used in telecommunications network-related communications equipment and other electronic equipment. The Products Quality Assurance segment offers highly precise checkweighers; X-ray and other inspection systems that detect and remove metal fragments, stones, and other alien materials in the food processing process. The Others segment engages in the information and communications, devices, logistics, welfare services, real estate leasing, and other businesses. Anritsu Corporation was founded in 1895 and is headquartered in Atsugi, Japan.
