In addition, the company offers electronic materials, including rosins for use as raw material of chemicals and electronic components; provides solutions for solder jointing processes, including the soldering and post-soldering cleaning process; and develops flux-removing agents for electronic or semiconductor devices, as well as cleaning systems using flux-removing agent, and its peripheral equipment. The company was formerly known as Arakawa Forest Chemical Industries, Ltd. and changed its name to Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd. in April 1977.
