The company also provides business financing, corporate leasing, project and real estate financing, payment and collections, trade and export finance, and digital services, as well as investment and transactional banking. As of March 31, 2021, it operated approximately 1,727 branches. The company was formerly known as Banco Popolare Societa Cooperativa Scarl and changed its name to Banco BPM Società  per Azioni in January 2017. Banco BPM S.p.A. is headquartered in Verona, Italy.
