It consists of five coal mines, including Borynia-Zofiówka, Budryk, Jastrzebie-Bzie, Knurów-Szczyglowice, and Pniówek. The company provides inspection and repair services for internal transport equipment; and technical research services, chemical and physiochemical analyses of minerals, solid liquid, and gaseous materials and products. It is also involved in the provision of railway lines; maintenance of railway infrastructure and equipment; construction and repairs of railway systems and facilities; building security and auxiliary services; and water and sewage-related services, discharge of salt water, supply of industrial water, reclamation activity and production of salt. In addition, the company provides computer hardware consulting and data processing services; insurance intermediation and administration services; tourist and hotel services; rail siding; transportation and general construction services; mechanic, electric repair, renovation, and maintenance of automation technology; and post-mining waste disposal and reclamation services. Further, it manufactures spare parts, assemblies, devices, steel structures, technical equipment, tools, and instruments; renovates, maintains, and upkeeps machinery and equipment; produces machinery for mining, quarrying, and construction; and provides mining, architectural and engineering, machinery leasing services, as well as engages in the designing and execution of vertical and horizontal mine workings and tunnels.
