PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the plantation business in Indonesia. It operates through four segments: Oil Palm Products, Rubber, Seeds, and Others. The company offers crude palm oil and rubber, as well as cocoa, tea, and oil palm seeds. It also develops plantations on behalf of local smallholders. As of December 31, 2020, the company had a total planted area of 116,053 hectares comprising 96,074 hectares of palm oil; 15,976 hectares of rubber; and 4,003 hectares of cocoa, tea, and other crops in North Sumatra, South Sumatra, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, and Java. In addition, it is involved in the research, processing, trading, marketing, industrial, and agency/representative activities; and invests in agricultural technology and cultivation, as well as agriculture, forestry, and fishery businesses. The company also exports its products. The company was founded in 1906 and is headquartered in Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia.
