The company also engages in the planning, construction, and maintenance of roads, railroads, ports and harbors, airports, waterworks and sewer systems, government offices, waste disposal and treatment facilities, other public facilities, etc. In addition, it leases equipment and properties; constructs power generation facilities; and provides consulting services. The company was formerly known as TOA Harbour Works Co., Ltd. and changed its name to TOA Corporation in 1987. TOA Corporation was founded in 1908 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
