USI Corporation designs, develops, manufactures, and sells polyethylene in Asia, the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and internationally. The company offers low-density polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, high-density polyethylene, and linear low density polyethylene resins; vinyl chloride monomer products; and PVC powder, plastic pellets, and chemicals, as well as plastic tubes, pipe fittings, plastic door panels, and anti-corrosion protection films. It also provides soft, rigid, semi-, adhesive, and print plastic sheets; plastic leather and soft plastic leather; expanded polystyrene; acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer resins; and general purpose polystyrene. In addition, the company offers styrene; glass wool products; cubic printings; impact-resistant polystyrene; manganese-zinc and nickel-zinc soft ferrite powder; manganese-zinc soft ferrite cores; siliconware powder; and cyclic block copolymers. Further, it provides management, optical products and fireproof materials, warehousing petrochemical raw materials, business management consulting, and commission agency services; engages in the import and export trade, importing and distributing of various chemical raw materials and products, and reinforced plastic products manufacturing; manages chemical products equipment and plastic products; and wholesales electronic materials. Additionally, the company produces and markets stretch films, embossed films, and industrial-use multi-layer wrap; sapphire crystals; polystyrene, acrylonitrile, butadiene, ABS resin, SAN resin, glasswool insulation products, and plastic materials; polystyrene derivatives; plastic cloths, skins, tubes, powder, and other related products; and vest bags, garbage bags, and diapers. It provides its products under the EVATHENE, PAXOTHENE, UNITHENE, LINATHENE, and ViviOn names. The company was formerly known as USI Far East Corporation. USI Corporation was founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
