Its business activities include underwriting and trading renminbi-denominated common shares (A shares), special renminbi shares (B shares), domestic treasury bonds, fixed income products, financial bonds, and corporate bonds in domestic market; asset management; financial advisory and investment consulting; and other activities. Its investment banking services include sponsoring and underwriting equity IPOs and listed companies refinancing; financial advisory for private equity; reforming and restructuring advisory for corporations; merger and acquisition advisory for corporations; and economy development advisory for municipal governments. The company also engages in local and foreign currency bond, municipal bond and asset backed securities, global bond, and commercial paper underwriting; and treasury and financial bond auction and sale, proprietary trading, bond market research and consulting, new fixed-income product engineering and development, and institutional sale and research activities. In addition, it engages in the shares underwriting and trading; futures brokerage, consultation, and training; and asset management, financial advisory, investment consulting and advisory, and other services. The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
